McKeag [Kee-g] Pierre Budin [Boo- dan], Clay Basket Lucinda Crusoe, and Pasconel Pacho Santiago =D

These were suppose to be two normal sized loaves, but the only pan I could find had them turn into minis!

home-made vanilla extract ~ 2 cups brandy, 2 vanilla beans (sliced down the middle). Shake everyday for four weeks, 'Voila!'

He sure is handsome! He had this HUGE dread hanging from his chest the other day, it was hilarious! He and Garbanzo were bit by what we believe to be an eastern king snake recently. They seem to be fine. It only hurts a little, as you can imagine...
Little Eli Sanders is here! They went to pick him up in January. Look at that smile!!

...One Year Old >>>

Happy 1st birthday to my blog! I cannot believe it's been a whole year since I started blogging! Soooo... I know this post is not posted on the actual day, but it is close. If you want me to get all technical, the specific day is January 27th - when I posted my FIRST POST EVER! However, I have been thinking about this post since probably the 9th or so...

Anywho, I know I have not been posting like I think I should (my preference being everyday...) and I am super sorry to the people that check my blog everyday for anything new, if there are any of those people.

I know I say this alllll the time, but it's true. I'VE BEEN SOOO BUSY. D: And that's all I'm saying. I've decided not to bore you with my exciting life. ;) Though it really is exciting to me.

Have a great February!

You Forgot My Soul

You lived next door to me for years;
We shared our dreams, our joys and tears.
A friend to me you were indeed,
A friend who helped me when in need.

My faith in you was strong and sure.
We had such trust as should endure.
No "words" between us could impose;
Our friends were like - and so, our foes.

What sadness, then, my friend, to find
That after all, you weren't so kind;
The day my life on earth did end,
I found you weren't a faithful friend.

For all those years we spent on earth,
You never talked of second birth.
You never spoke of my lost soul
And of the Christ Who'd make me whole.

I'm lost today eternally
And tell you now my earnest plea.
You cannot do a thing for me -
No words today my bonds will free.

But - do not err, my friend, again -
Do all you can for souls of men.
Plead with them now quite earnestly,
Lest they be cast in hell with me.

........................................................................................

I shared this with everyone a while back (May 29th, 2012) and came across it recently while looking through a journal of mine. It reminds me of a few people... I'm sure you're thinking of someone right now as well... Why don't you share with them the most important part of your life.... Why hold it back? Why are we afraid to tell the ones we love that God loves them more...?

..........................................................................................

One more thing in my journal I would love to share with you all is this:

"Lift up your eyes on high
An see who has created these stars,
The One who leads forst their
host by number,
He calls them all by name;
Because of the greatness of His
might and the strength of His power.
Not one of  them is missing.
Why do you say, O Jacob, and
assert, O Israel,
'My way is hidden from the
Lord,
And the justice do me escapes
the notice of my God'?
Do you not know? Have you not
heard?
The everlasting God, the Lord,
the creator of the ends of the earth
Does not become weary or tired.
His understanding is unsearchable."
Isaiah 40:26-28

..........

"Scientist have...learned that our universe is unimaginably immense. Although only a few thousand stars are visible to the naked eye, scientist estimate that there are roughly one hundred billion galaxies on the observable universe, each having about one hundred billion stars. That means there are 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars in the observable universe, give or take a few.
Such vast quantities of matter and energy testify to the unfathomable power and wisdom of the Creator.It is no surprise that when God wants to reassure His people that He understands their situation and is able to care for them, He tells them, (Isaiah 40:26-28). God calls each star by name! He then goes on to ask how we could possibly think that He doesn't know, care about, or provide for us. If He knows each star and makes sure that each is fulfilling it's destiny, how much more  does He watch over us?"
('Holman Quick Source Guide to Understanding Creation' Mark Whorton and Hill Roberts)
