Well, the Amish aren't really the same in Holmes County! We haven't seen much of them, since they have their own back roads and hardly use the main roads. We saw a few in town and at wal-mart (which was really strange). But other than that, they haven't been out. It has been raining though...
So, I've decided to post about my little girl, Paola Andrea, that I sponsor (with the help of dad on some days). When we went back to GA for the weekend, in May, she had sent me a letter and I thought I'd share it which you all along with pictures:
"Dear Sponsor,
Many greetings, I felt so happy when I known about the special gift you sent to me as money (We had sent it for an Easter gift)
So I able to buy shoes, sneakers and a chest of drawers to keep my notebooks, I'm so grateful for this special moment and I'm in my house with my parents, siblings and the rest of my family.
I attend Carmen School, many greetings to your family and I would like to know you someday and I think I will be on camp, it will be a surprise for me, my parents also wants to send you their warm greetings,
Please do you pray for my family? God bless you enormously, goodbye
Paola Andrea"
I am so blessed by this girl! I have only heard from her twice, yet it seems like its been forever. The pictures are of Paola Andrea and her mother with the things they bought. She is 11 and lives in Bolivia, thats why the letter is a little hard to understand, since they had to translate it into english. I hope to meet her face to face someday. :)
Blythe,
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful response from your penpal. This will be such a special relationship that you are forming. Thanks for sharing!
